    Need some design help

With my background in fabrication and the access I have to fab tools I have decided it my best interest to make a set of cal tracs vs buying them. I need yalls help with something though... I have a set of 2'' lowering hangers that is causing a problem with the bellcrank. I was thinking about putting one of them in between the spring and hanger and the other on the outside of the hanger and then just using shims to center it up. Is this going to be my best option or am I over looking something?

Here are some pics to help visualize what I am talking about.

Im gonna make another suggestion. I just shot over to PT.net and found out I would have to modify my hangers to make the caltrac design work and I am not really digging that idea. I picked this up while I was over there though, what would be the advantages/disadvantages vs the caltrac design?

The Caltrac design helps to untwist the leaf springs when under hard acceleration. That other setup might work fine as well.

I don't think that design would let it twist at all in the first place. Alot of the guys at PT.net were saying they were having better 60ft times with the long bars.

I like the lower pic setup...looks simple but i think it would kill your ride quality.Ill try to post some pics of my traction bars i made and see if you could use them.

It could be removed for everyday driving and then installed on track night if the ride was too bad... Just wondering how it's going to compare to the tracs?

Im thinking I will, kinda what have I got to loose type thing at this point. All I have to buy is the heim joints and I can reuse them if its a complete fail. What size tubing do you think would heavy enough?
