    Yes, the truck will run without the ABS, no problem. On your 1996 truck, it has nothing to do with the engines operating system. Yes, pictures ARE always a good idea.

    Ill get pics when the girlfriend get here with her camera but I went and looked this after noon and one of the plugs is just power to the ABS controller. The other has several wires in it.

    Ok here are the two plugs that came from the ABS.



    Here is where they are coming from.

    Yup, those look like some of the ABS plug-ins. Just put them all back in the ABS module where they came from.

    But I have to cut them out of the harness right?
