No, leave the ABS plugs in it. There should be a white VSS wire that goes from the EBCM to the vortec VCM. You'll need to get a signal from the new PCM to the brake module. I want to say it's the C1 connector pin 15.

You are loosing me with all the acronyms, There are no wire coming from the ABS module to splice to they unplugged from the module and went with the old harness.

The VSS means Variable Speed Sensor. Its a sensor plug-in on the rear tailstock of all our transmissions that runs forward & is part of the engines computer wiring harness. The white wire that Lance mentions, comes from your/our newer LS computer, and is a source of a VSS signal that the ABS brake module needs to see, to operate the anti-lock brake system(ABS) properly. All of the yellow tape wrapped plug-ins that were connected to your ABS module, need to be put back. They were not part of your old engines harness. There was only one wire(or two) that was part of your old engine/transmission harness that you should cut from the ABS module. This is a VSS signal wire that can be had from the new LS computer. The one Lance mentioned. Contrary to what others say about needing the old trucks computer, it is not needed for the ABS. Follow?
I think so Ill have to take some picture for yall to see if I am thinking the right way.
Will the truck run without the ABS hooked up?

Ill get pics when the girlfriend get here with her camera but I went and looked this after noon and one of the plugs is just power to the ABS controller. The other has several wires in it.
Ok here are the two plugs that came from the ABS.
Here is where they are coming from.

Yup, those look like some of the ABS plug-ins. Just put them all back in the ABS module where they came from.
