The TBSS TC would actually stall lower than your stock TC.
I use the V6 S10 TC in my truck and get 2700 rpm footstall speeds at WOT, rear tires NOT turning. Stock L31 stalls at around 1500 rpm at WOT.
Nice gaisn in acceleration and much less rpm drop during WOT upshifts keeping my engine in its powerband instead of dropping below it. Same premise of the I-6 TC swap.
