    That isn't too bad a deal. I pulled out a perfectly good 305 when I installed my LS1. It served well for 199K miles. You will love the new power and it will be worth it.

    Its still okay the intake gasket is a common problem on these trucks. And for 213,xxx miles I am pretty satisfied in its performance particularly the way I drive it...
