Is there anything wrong with a MR gasket thermostat? I have had it for about 5 months and it works great. 1/2 the price y'all are mentioning. Is it the name? Is it because I bought it at auto zombie?![]()
Same one I got Jeff - mine was $18 plus shipping. None of the parts stores could locate one. What did you tell them it was for?
The newer trucks have a separate thermostat like the old school SBC's. The older trucks (early 2000's) the thermostat is built into the thermostat housing, just like the LS1's.
