Has anybody tried the intake from AEM?? I know they specialize in imports, so i was surprised to see an intake from them for the 5.3 vortec.

I have the AEM Brute force and it is a sweet set up!!! The MAC intake is also similar. I heard from a 4X4 shop here in town that it they were both good quality intakes, but the AEM set up a little better and it had mounts for the radiator hose and a better support for the tube so it didn't rest on the heat shield. But if you are wanting to save a little $ the MAC will be a decent set up.

But I will tell you one thing rpmoutlet.com isn't the best place to get stuff from. I purchased my pullies from them and I was sent pullies for a 89 thru 91 Mercury cougar. When I called tem and informed the of the wrong shipment they said they would told me they would make a note and send the right ones and a shipment sticker to return the pullies. Well after about 10 phone calls and each time no one knew what I was talking about I finally got a manager to actually send me the pullies a month later. Total pain in the ass!!!! go with some one else with a better customer service like performanceproducts.com
