ya it will all just bolt in..... You might want to go ahead and throw some forged pistons, and h beam rods.... and while your at it some Clevite hp bearings, and a Melling oil pump and comp double roller timing chain..... This is what I did.... I bought the exact same motor, then completly rebuilt it.... lol, if you need any new parts I know where some are.... you will love it.

Why not go bigger on the cam?
really need the drivability, thats why im keeping the cam a little on the small side. appreciate the input guys. the bottom end needs to stay stock for this particular project. i just cant make myself throw away good new parts. (besides the cam anyway). i take the advice on the injectors and leave em alone for now and let alan tell me if i need the upgrade or not. truck will probably never go to the track or see a dyno, i haul my kid to school every moring in this thing.

Hey--I just noticed you sig says 12.5 mpg--why soi low? I was around that same mark when I was driving it decently hard on my old tune. Now that I have a live tune done (with the samee mods as before), I am now floating around 20 mpg city/hwy mixed. I bet I could get closer to 21-22 on the freeway... You should try and get your tune reworked--drive down and have Allen or someone do a live scan while driving it around and see where some timing/fuel can be reworked....Originally Posted by MEANGENE75
