    Oh, I forgot what I had done to my old 78 GMC offroad truck. The tailpipes were ran up high, close to the bottomside of the bed, and just at the end of the bed(roll pan or bumper for you), they turned down and ended. They could not be seen unless you bent down and looked under the truck.

    Not at all, and it was a standard cab with a shortbed. It just has to go all the way back to get rid of the booming, and point out the back end to help get rid of the droaning. Of course, there are other factors.
