well i tried the pass key thing... and i guess the security light is supposed to come on, alternating with the battery light and abs light... well mine never did. it just shows the battery light and another one that says change engine oil.
i have an aftermarket alarm system, dunno if this has something to do with it.

i do know that a remote start will cause problems for sure. is it a viper alarm. they still get into things with the no start part of the alarm. ask the alarm installer about it.

Allen?!?!? Please tell me the remote start only F's with the pass key. I have remote and a crap load of idle issues. Computer keeps abandoning the EVAP test as well. Sorry to jump in on thread...just having relearn problems as well...idle relearn to be specific.do you have remote start on your truck?
