    I caught the last second of this new ( or so I think ) chevy commercial about this Silverado VHO. The truck looked like it had 20" wheels and it advertised 345hp which I'm thinking must be a 6.0. Has anyone else seen this ?? Maybe chevy could quit messin' around and release a production single cab 6.0 !!

    yeah it was 20" wheels but I'll bet it's a unleashed 5.3, I mean the
    stock 6.0 is 320-330 that would be too easy to get 345 from.

    the "VHO" means Vortec High Output which is what the new 6.0 345hp trucks with the factory 20s and no AWD have, the VHO is just a marketing term pretty much.

    Wonder when these will be seen at the dealers ? The 6.0 would be an awesome base engine to modify.

    Its the LQ9 package. it has the high output vortec 6.0 liter in it. Go to LS1tech and they have a couple members with them. Maybe it will reduce the egos of hemi and titan owners.

    They are out! There are about 5 at the dealership my buddy works at! Was it a local commercial or a actual chevy commercial? What I was told is that is was left over parts from the SS's but I dont know the truth behind that! I also told that it was a Texas,Oklahoma,Louisiana only offer(not that other states dont have them because I know for fact that a guy in MO has one but dealers always get vehicles from other dealerships) It also has the 4l65e tranny!!!!!!!!&#33 ;

    As far as I know now, they're only offered in ext cab models. The commercial I saw was a Chevy commercial. It would be nice to see that vho package in a single cab.

    You mean this...

    GM made about 950 of them this year at the Oshawa plant in Canada. It has the same engine and tranny as the Silverado SS, but it is in a 2wd configuration. 6.0 litre, 345 HP & 380 lbs tqe.

    I believe they will start producing them again in November of this year. The sticker on the one I bought was $33,000. I paid about $26,000. No plans for a regular cab yet I'm sorry to say.
