^^^ right on the money if you are running tr6 .35, I just put a fresh set in my truck friday night, I gap'em at .25, (note: don't work on the truck when drunk) we were working on putting a new set of mirrors on(06 SS mirrors)and after a case or two of coor lite well, I found my gauge the next morning gap at .25

Sry for the noob Q but im puttin my Pacesetters on soon and someone told me i Need gap my spark plugs I have thr tr6's how do u gap????? and should i us tr6's with all motor???

TR6's should be gapped around .035-.038 for N/A applications. You can get a plug gap tool for 99 cents at Autozone/O'Reilly's out of one of the buckets at the front counter. Just insert the gap tool inbetween the electrode and the outside "J" looking ground electrode and turn it until you get the desired gap.Originally Posted by ChevyBeast05'

all motor use tr55 gapped at .060 with OEM plug wires IMO.

new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (
yes the book calls for .60, thats why i was like why the HECK am i gapping it to .40.. ..... talked to a mechanic, he laughed at me for using them, he said get some A/C delco's back in there. im gunna try some, see how i like them.
