Motor, Tranny and all accessories?

I am supposed to be getting pictures of this motor tonight and I will post them on here. If its what he says it is all I will need is a wiring harness I think...

its got emissions on it lol. yank that mess off.. also i would just find the cheapest 5.3 on the market, then re build it your self before you swap it. I spent 3500 bux on a lq9 an 80e tranny, being the idiot i am, i didn't rebuild the motor, an sure enough it had some problems.

Wow is this the norm? Is there anything I can check to make sure the motor is in good shape? I would hate to get the motor in an it not be running...

take the heads off while its out of the truck. you will need new head bolts an gaskets but its worth it IMO. have the heads cleaned up, check the cylinders an stuff.

Well so far its looking like I am going to go through with it. I am tenatively planning the swap for end of august or first of sept.
