    I'll try to post some pic's of where I notched my rails soon.

    I notched mine about 1/2" wider on both sides and about 2 1/2" deep then bent some 2x1/8" flat bar and welded them in.

    got mine through summit.

    and i dont think i am going to have to notch the bed rail that much...the shackle is BARELY touching it right now...but thanks for the pics.
