    Question Voltage ?

    Sometimes my truck reads below 14 sometimes above. Where does it need to be and is there an easy fix or do I need to take it and let the dealership and get it fixed under warranty?

    P.S it almost seems like it runs better when it's higher

    when the truck is running mine runs anywhere from about 13.6ish to 14.5ish, usually when ive driven it for a while it sits just under the 14v mark, the Deck says its at 13.5 / 13.6 jumps around. i dont have an accurate reading, but its just under the 14v mark. i think 13.8v is what you want to be trickle charging at. not sure im not an electrical expert.

    i think its fine

    Get a set of underdrive pulleys. The crank and alt. pulley combo will let the lat run at about 15 VOLTS at all times--even with the efans at 100% and my system blaring MC Hammer.

    12.5 to 14.6 is good. I don't think I'd worry.
