    Removing the lines doesn't make it faster, does it.

    i dont see how it would...besides arent the lines there for structural support incase of nitrous backfire

    Yes sir that is right...they have a better designed intake that help you keep the torque of the stock truck intake and allows the flow like an LS6 vette intake
