Gotcha. You must have took the pic right after spraying cuz it looks glossy. Do you find its better to lay a couple coats of epoxy first then the body filler or just do the body filler then epoxy over the whole area? I know toyota recommends filler over epoxy just for added protection.
Your right, it was still a little wet when I took the pic. Im sure the paint shop this truck goes to will scuff it first then apply filler. I don't think he's getting it finished yet, this will keep the rust off till he gets ready to finish the job.

How did yall get those inserts onthe side to fix? Or how much fabricating did yall do for those? I remember when you were just holding them up they werent even close to fitting haha..

btw my exhaust sounds better ( no leaky sounds) and I have yet to scrape. Oh and it feels better with the sway bar tightened. Glad you saw the bushing was upside down

Very carefully. Jon is pretty good with sheetmetal. Yeah, those patch panals looked scary how they came. After some cutting and putting them on the "knee bender" they fit a little better. We finished at 2am and drove home high from paint fumes.
Glad to hear No leaks. Now your ready to take some corners at 200mph

It's always safe to put a few coats of epoxy down on bare metal just to seal out any pin holes. Body filler doesn't like moisture, and 99.0% of filler problems is because moisture gets in from the back side.. Just good insurance. Overall the kit was pretty decent, with a small exception of the corner fillers not fitting at all. They took a lot of reshapping and trimming to get to fit, but turned out good in the end.
