Its your tensioner probably. Look for the pully that isnt spinning. If the pullies are still spinning, the one that is the hottest ( I did the water drip test once) is it. Or you can take the belt off and inspect each pully.

well guys a 90 inch belt is to big i meaused it with a flexible tape and that what it came out to but its just to big... i can get pretty much anysize at the auto parts store. should i just keep going down an inch until it stops slipping on the alternator? i think an 88 or 89 will work good....

Thats the numbers I have for the belts..thats with UD pulley, a 145 amp alternator and OD alt pulley though. I'd say w/o the 145 amp alt, the belt should need to be 1" smaller.
13.4 @ 98mph. Cammed/Stalled/LTs/Tune and those lame 3.42s!
