Yeah...I'm not the expert by any means, but it was explained that instead of routing the oil or oil molecules or whatever from blowby and stuff back into the intake where they're supposed to be burned but typically just coat the intake and injectors, it sends that crap into the catch can.

I probably didn't explain it the best, but...

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean I can't use the catch can with the turbo?

Sorry - I'm confused...I don't know if mine "needs" a catch can. I thought either the catch can or the breather would be sufficient (either / or) but would in a round about way both serve the same purpose. Is one more beneficial than the other? And mine doesn't go back into the motor - not sure if you were thinking it did...?

The hose is 3/8" which is what the nipples are on the valve covers (not sure how you would get 5/8" to work?). They go from the valve covers to the catch can and end there. The catch can has a breather.

I actually bought the two filters prior to getting the catch can. The small one installed easily enough...the larger one didn't fit on the oil filler neck. Did you cut the top of the neck off (where it widens) for yours to fit or did I get the wrong size?

I got mine from Billy...I may be selling it and just going with the breathers though.
