See... jerks. I DO know what speed density tune does and how you do it with HPT. You can do one with or without a MAF. Since this guy has a LS6 block/LS1 rotating assembly, he can use a 2 bar SD tune if he wants. And look at his mods! Since he has major mods (N/A) with a high lift camshaft, he probably needs to have one done. It wouldn't hurt him one bit.

And yes, I do agree with you Danny and James--he does need to set his tranny line pressures back to stock since he is running that specific tranny (knowing how it was built).

I dont have the high lift cam. i got the baby one. lol. I think its like 534 lift or something close. I wouldnt say My truck has major mods because it doesnt feel fast enough to me. Maybe the procharger will help.

Oh. I say your duration numbers and when I typically see a 220/224, I think for it to have .56X/.58X numbers. The sole fact that you have a cam makes it technically be a motor with major modifications, based upon what tuners say...not to mention a different rotating assembly.

Glad to hear that. I thought this was the case.

i have raced dirt track for about 10 years and have had motors of over 650hp n/A in 2200lbs cars { modifieds} so now most things dont feel that fast anymore. It kinda sucks. I dont dare turn this thing 8300 rpms. lol
