    Dynatech makes some SuperMaxx long tube headers for your truck. You can also do a performance muffler (Magnaflow, Flowmaster, etc.). You can do your moda at any time in relation to the custom tune--because your tuner allows for you to have free lifetime updates. But if you do the LT headers, you will definitely need a tune afterwards...

    i just saw the dynatech's and im probably gona get them within the next few weeks, and im planing on using a dynomax ultra flow x muffler

    if i do all this will a tune be necessary or just highly recomended?

    With LT's, you will have to get a new y-pipe fabricated. You can either choose to do cats or no cats. Either way, it is a good idea to do a tune really soon afterwards so you can have the rear O2's disabled. If not, you will throw a CEL. It isn't a big deal, except for that annoying orange light on your dash....
