A black rcsb hemi. loud pipes,no tailgate or spare. The scoreboard was out and I couldn't really tell how fast he was. He was vauge on times when I asked so "Let's run 'em. I got the holeshot and walked him pretty good. He may have quit before the end because I was reving him from about a 1000' and he didn't close much.
    His time 15.5 @ 85 and a slow rt. My time 14.9 @ 83.
He thinks a (soon to be out Hypp ?) is going to put him in Lightning territory
Nothing else new. He might of lied about it being a hemi? That would be fast for a 5.9

Hahahaha I know what ya mean! When I went to Houston last time a couple of Hemi boys were there and I made the mistake of leaving my hood up to cool the engine. Well every time I (or any other truck for that matter) lined up those Hemi's we never around. One of them seemed like a nice enought fellow and said he was running a 14.3(I think he said exhaust, custome intake, and the cut the tranny wire mod). There was no way to verify this as it was a Sunday night (street type raceing no scoreboards instant green, slip torn in half). I there is an aftermarket for them now so they might start improving. Still along way from the hype they get!

the aftermarket is gonna help them guys out a bunch. but from what i read over on their boards are that they are happy with their truck the way it is. it has plenty power and all that jazz.

There is no Hypertech available for them and prolly won't be for a while. Dodge doesn't want to let loose of the code for the PCM which keeps them a long ways from anything serious. They can't even get colder plugs for spray yet. I actually kinda feel sorry for them.

15.5 is slow for a RCSB HEMI. They should be low 15's or even into the 14's. If it was brand new, then I could see it as they like to cripple them when they are new and from what they say they loosen up a good bit with some miles on them.
