    Yeah, use a propane torch--but heat it for like 3-4 minutes, evenly distributing the heat around the inside bore. After about 3 minutes of heat time, quickly shove it on the snout of the crank--it should go on about 3/4 of an inch or so. It only needs to go on about 4 full turns of the crank bolt. You need about 4 full thread turns on the crank bolt to insure you seat the pulley correctly.
