    Newb from Raleigh, NC

Yo guys, what's up? Been wanting a Z71 since high school, but never got one. Been doing the musclecar thing for a while and finally got one a decade after I graduated high school.

Bought a 2000 Sierra SLT Z71 extended cab 5.3L last week and loving every minute of it. It is indigo blue with the tan leather interior and about every option. I needed a truck for my powdercoating business, so it was time to step up and find a good one.

I also have some other toys. I have a 98 Trans Am that I've done some work to, about to swap in a 6-spd in the next few months. I also have a 74 AMX with a 401/4-spd that I drive around, but it needs some work. Not a bad car, though.

I also have a 68 Camaro I'm building for my bro-in-law who is in Iraq. He'll be home soon, so we are down to the wire! Check out PatriotDream.org to follow the build.

    I've got too many, though.

I didn't even mention my wife's 05 Trailblazer, the 89 Firebird Formula that I loaned to my dad(gonna give it to my bro for his birthday in July, though), or the 86 S-10 Blazer 4x4 that I've got stored at my grandfather's place.

    I need a bigger shop.

Welcome to LS1truck! Nice purchase on the Z71--you're gunna love it. Especially with the high list of potential mods for it! So you've got a 98 LTI car that has an A4 that you wanna do a T-56 in? Have fun with the swap!
