I was contacted earlier today by a friend/site sponser on another forum i frequent. There is a charity racing league that myslef and a few other members on here are a part of. The league is held (usually) at Northstar Dragway in Denton Texas. The league benefits Special Needs Children of Dallas and is used as a fund raiser going to charity. This is a great oppertunity to get out to the track and get soem runs in and hang out with a group of like minded car/truck enthusiests...

recently there were individual teams coming from RKC and a couple branching out to other sites. Well this year he has decided to change it up.. Instead of having multiple teams from 1 website... he has consolidated the teams into one... this means there is a Team Ricekiller.com, Team SteadyRacing.com, Team Dallasimports.net, and he wanted me to gather up a group of guys fast/slow/old/young to form a team LS1TRUCK.com!!

this is a great time at the track and its always alot of fun to hang out with people and watch some amazing cars hit the strip.... so lets get some guys/gals together and show em what some trucks can do and hurt some feelings

this is just a question of interest thread before we really get it moving... but the money goes to a great cause and is well worth every penny that is spent..

you are allowed to negotiate bulbs on teh tree and what not with your opponent... so DR's or not you have options

ill go into that and post the details on that once we get some more responce in here

edit... it says 3.5 hours... but thats going through the crappy directions... im sure you can cut it down and bump up the cruise control to cut about an hour or so off

Im interested... I know i dont have a fast truck but anything to go to the races for a weekend and hang out with everyone.
