I was wondering if anyone has any info on installing a 4L80E behind a 5.3L 2000 half-ton truck. What would it take to make it work as far as electronics/driveshaft shortening or lengthening or would it even work? I am not impressed with the 4L60E as i have rebuilt it twice over the past year. The planets front and rear each broke once and i am tired of this being the weak link in a truck that i love other than the tranny. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
