sweet i love to 240sx, i have a s14 that i turbo'd the original ka. but i have gotten tired of it, because after all the work i put into it it still isn't as fast as the TBSS. i could run more boost but then i run into engine management issues. right now im running on sr injectors and maxima maf which cancel each other out perfect just with 30% more flow on both, which lets me push 8psi 10 max.

Jeff, those sore back muscles you are experiencing is not from doing a cam swap, but from you getting reamed from behind by your boyfriend...

I also need headers (found some on summitracing that will work), some mufflers, and a bunch of other little things.
But it's going pretty good, I got my camaro accessories from KruznLow. I could start removing the stock engine and start fitting the 5.3 so when i get everything i just bolt it on and go, but I want to drive the car the way it is for a while to get used to it.
    Thanks for the comments
Nice thread title Tanner...240sx hotness...you fag.
So you already have the motor mounts? For the rest of your stuff, try and find an 03 and newer truck at a junk yard and take the DBW pedal stuff off it plus the driveshaft. You can get a stock MAF off one of the forums or Ebay for pretty cheap.
I would go ahead and throw a 200 shot of NOS through the 240 motor and have some fun with it! Then once you blow the motor to smitherines, yank it out and start fabbing your motor mounts and get it set in there. You going to be able to mount it low enough in the frame without needing a Camaro/Firebird or GTO oil pan?

Tanner, there are six bosses on each side of the block that can be used to attach custom-made mounts. In some cases, mounts from any other motor can be installed on an LS1 block with adapter plates. This way, you can place your engine farther back to improve weight distribution.

Your preaching to the choir here Tyler. I've already got a GTO oil pan on the engine, ls1 intake, modified truck fuel rail connector, mounts are cake with a couple chunks of aluminum.
And as far as weight distribution, the 5.3l iron block with aluminum heads, all accessories and 4l60e weighs the same as the stock engine accessories and tranny. I know, hard to believe, but it is. If anyone doesn't believe me I can get the info for you! lol
    Thanks for the comments guys

Shweeeeet.........................I have a 91 240SX Super Hicas sitting in my driveway I bought brand new. A Ready Ice truck hit it and my insurance company totaled it out but it only needed a drivers side door and quarter panel so I bought it back for an LS1 swap but never did it. It doesn't have any unibody damage either and still drives straight as a board. LEt me know how your swap goes.
