    Trailblazer stall

    im thinking about getting one but im confused on which one i need... i have a 4.3 and i am putting in my 3.73s and auburn in 2 weeks.
    05 Chevy Silverado. Regular cab, short bed.
    -4.3L
    - Sung Top tonneau bed cover.

    Hey man what cam are you gonna go with if you get a V8?

    If you arent gonna get a V8 it would be a decent stall..I had it in my V6 and it launched great off the line.

    If you get a cam in the V8 you will need a way bigger stall

    dang man its been awhile! how ya doing?... anyways..


    its gonna be atleast another year before i can get a v8 since i got arrested and all my moneys going to probation and court fees... but ya. im still fuzzy on cam specs...

    Ive been good

    Yea if you go V8 dont get the TB Stall if your going cam...Trust me...a guy on here with a 5.3 with a 220/222 cam has the TB Stall and hates it....

    well im thinking something transmission as my next mod after i install my 3.73s and lsd.... transgo hd2?

    Screw that...go big and do the zippy race shift kit...I had it in my blue truck and it was the best!!!

    Best shift kit ever...It would own in that truck...and could support a 6.0 if you got one

    how much do you think installation for that would be and would i need a tune after that?

    Are you talking about the shift kit or the TC? The I-6 (regular) Trailblazer TC is rated at about 2400-2500 rpms. The TBSS TC is rated at 2100 to 2200 rpms.

    Install prices can vary between shops. If you have the correct tools and know-how, you and a friend can install a TC in a day...
