Yup, Patrick knows his stuff. He did his 6.0L/4L80E swap back in Dec of '04...not too many guys were doing this back then. Now it seems like everyone is getting in on the act. Nothing like riding the coattails of smarter people If these guys can make this work without having to retain the stock pcm, it would be a pretty big deal in my book.
