Okay guys, I need some pointers/advice on where to start my build up. The engine is stock, havn't even put a programer to it, all i have is a K&N FIPK, and Flowmaster exhaust. I'vve been dealing with the cosmetics and should have that wrapped up soon, so i'm in the planning stages of making my truck faster. I'm not looking for anything super crazy, if I can hang with 'Vettes I'd be happy.

Things that are not going to happen:
    1. Engine swap. Can't justify the swap to myself. I did have plans for a LS1/LS6 swap at one time though.
    2. Don't really want to play with the bottle.
    3. Supercharger. This one is actually more in the maybe catagory. I don't have a whole lot of room under my hood, so as much as I'd like one, craming it in there is gonna be tough.

I'm pretty much game for anything else.

You might want to start with a Nelson tune, gears, posi, and maybe a stall. A built transmission with a shift kit is good too. That will make a big improvement, although you probally still won't be able to hang with Corvettes! A radix will deff put you in with most Corvettes!

Yep a radix will do it for around 4,500.
I agree with GMCwantsLS1 on those add ons. I would only add some little things that make a difference.
    1. B&M Supercooler
    2. Electric Fans (Flex-a-lite or 99-02 F-body fans)
    3. ASM Longtube Headers
    4. New Cam
    5. Set of slicks (will lower your times at the track significantly over stock tires)

These will bring you a little closer to the tail end of those vettes.

New gears are going in next month, trans will be rebuilt and beefed up once my neighbor gets time,.

I've heard that all motor you can get pretty good performance, it's just alot of work. That's really what I'm wanting to do. If I have to go with forced induction, I'd rather find room for a SC than try to plumb a turbo.
