Hey, I figured I'd share a part of my knowledge, and join this site because I like all types of cars. Some people cannot. Now, it is awesome to see a heavy truck run 11's, but,here is what I say to that.

Give us little cars 700 ft. lbs, and we will run 9's. all day long....

Also, the GT500 for example, weighs around 4300 lbs. with driver. pretty damn close to a trucks weight right? Has less torque, more power, yet, can run low 12's with the right driver.

I'll stop talking about mustangs, and any other car, and just talk about trucks, how does that sound? It just seems, 99% of you all think Mustangs are slow, you can beat them left and right, so on so fourth. I'm just trying to correct you, so when you come up to a driver, or a real racer, you don't look like an idiot.
Grabber, you are going to have to expect for us truck guys to razz you a little for coming on here... We are a truck site--and us truck guys LOVE to beat any kind of car--especially Mustangs... I can speak for the rest of us in saying that we are not being assholes to you, just pleading our case just as much as you are. You also have to take into consideration that this is the effin INTERNET and a lot of people can be misjudged by what they type. You sound like a decent guy--the type that would race a truck and then pull over to shoot the $hit with and not be a jackass.

When it comes to numbers, trucks are at a disadvantage. We have more drivetrain power loss. We don't have 32 valve motors. Most of us don;t have FI. And our trucks are heavy as $hit. We can hook up to a trailer and pull a car to the track...race it..then hook the trailer back up and drive it home. We have a bed to put large objects in. Most trucks were not designed and engineered to do what a Mutang GT, Cobra, Bullitt, GT500 KR, or any type of Mustang or any other car was intended to do. Us truck guys like to be able to do what is mentioned above and then waste a performance car in a race.

But since we are all gearheads and enjoy modding our vehicles--lets leave it at that. Let the truck/Mustang smack talking continue for rivarly's sake. Just don't get all butt hurt if someone calls your car a ButtStang or says they don't like a yellow car...

Oh, BTW--nice car, nice mods, and nice times. I bet your POS can hand many poeple their ass in a race...
