    starting a new project

    Well I am getting my wifes truck underway this next week. Here is what we are starting with.


    We are powder coating the wheels red and running a red pen stripe to a 4" stripe on the bed wrapping around the bed with ghost stars in the strip. Let me know what yall think will post some pics.

    truck looks good i like the strip idea but not sure on red wheels guess i will half to wait and see

    thanks, yeah the wheels are going to be different but she loves red and its hers. I think after the paint we are gonna do the interior I told her its gonna be funny when her DD is a full blown show ride cause she wants bags, but we will see about that

    i love the lt colorados, i wish i had one with an ls2/3 thats my dream project. VERY nice truck u got there!

    there is alot of work bagging a colorado to lay but they look bad ass when they r layed out, on another note how is the mpg on thoses trucks

    Yeah, the ZQ8 suspension on those trucks does look cool. I think it is low enough honestly... Just the the wheels and pin stripe done and see how it looks... I would mod the motor before I spend money on trying to bag it...

    thanks guys yeah its low, the MPG's are 23hwy. I havnt had allen tune it yet but its got CAI and Magnaflow muffler. sounds ok. Brother in law got it sanded and taped off today the wheels are at the powder coaters and I'm in Alaska having the time of my life. So no sanding for me thank god.
