my truck is two years old but has only 10,000 miles on it. should i change tranns fluid because it still has the factory cheeze in there? it's 5.3l ecsb with 4l60e i believe. also, i understand these trannys are a weak spot. and that a shift kit will actually help preserve the tranny?? when should i do this? i think i have a 3 year 36 mile warranty so do i wait until it expires? thanks

It wouldn't hurt to change you transmission fluid and filter. If you don't already have one an external cooler will help your tranny to live longer too! I just installed a B&M Super Cooler on mine!
