my particular t56 has a .5 final drive so it actually works out exactly the same as the 4l60 i had with 3:23 gears. 2000ish rpms at 75mph

Was that trans swap pretty easy? Did you have to make youre own linkage? I hate my auto trans its my first one and I still go for the clutch when I start it.

It wasn't too bad. i did it myself, unless you have a lift i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. Its pretty straight forward you need a t56 out of a 97 1/2 - 2002 camaro. i used a ls7 clutch and flywheel. as far as the clutch pedal i just used the truck pedal, master cylinder and slave. prob the hardest part was the center console. i got rid of my center jump seat and got a center console out of a 2003-2006 tahoe.

hahah thats badass but your running FI so i duno if mine will be that nutty. hows the clutch hook up? i imagine it must be a sweet setup! i cant frigen wait. and i thought my v6 5 speed was fun. 350hp with a 6 speed is going to be addicting. did you run the shifter in the console? what kind of fabrication did that require. i have to cut a knew hole in my floor but i know Quik had to buy a rod and bend it for his.

The clutch is right on its a nice drivable clutch but when it grabs like a race clutch best choice imo

where did you pick up the bolts for the clutch i dont belive the kit comes with them does it? theres some that bolt the flywheel to the block and ones that bolt the whole deal together right? can i use the flexplate bolts that came with the stock auto for the flywheel?
