Thread: LS2 in the SSr

    I just read over on gminside that the SSR is going to get the LS2, rated around 390 hp. About damn time. I mean the looks still haven't sat in and I'm still not sure I like it, but with an engine like that , it helps a bit.

    Hopefully we'll start seeing the SS family come alive, tahoe, trailblazer and the reg SS.

    I test drove 1 for the hellofit about a month ago. It had the 5.3 in it. Plenty of power to weight ratio. But at $45k I'll stick with my truck. They also need to drop them about 2 inches IMO.

    I can think of about a million different things I could put 45,000 towards, and an ugly SSR isn't one of them.
    GM needs to quit wastin perfectly good LS2's on wanna-be trucks. Drop them in the Reg. Cab SS's and add a Radix.
