Thread: Does anybody know anything about tilt steering wheels?

Nope, it wasn't locked, at least not like when you can't turn it, I drove home with it in the upright position but I don't remember if I ever turned it from lock to lock, I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Yeah, while I was poking around under there I got thinking I wouldn't want to screw up the air bag. That would suck big time.

    Dude your not gonna mess up the air bag as long as you dont unplug it (well even then just plug it back in) ive had my entire truck stipped to the fire wall and everything is fine so you dont need that to worry about it wont accidentally go off or anything so try pushin the steering wheel all the way up then pull the release lever that will usually work when the steering wheel locks in the upright position if not that then those metal bars you were pushing on will probably be the prob ill take a look at mine and see and post you an answer. but the airbag should be that last of your worries.
