    Got the truck dynoed!

I went to vengeance racing to get the truck dynoed. My first run was at 12psi and a 10.8-1 A/F ratio. Its was a tide rich but not to bad. I think I could have made alittle more if I would have fine tuned it. When the run was done I turned the boost up to around 15 psi but lost power? I didnt find out intill after I was leaving the dyno that I had burnt a plug wire! I was really wanting to see some numbers on 15 and 18 psi. Oh well I'll do it another day. Well on 12psi it put down 572.83rwhp and 581.36rwtq. I was happy with the numbers. They let out alittle early(5800rpms)I hope to hit the track here in a week or two to see what kind of numbers I can turn. Here's the dyno graph. I took the picture with my cell phone so its not the best. The torque curve is way ahead of the horsepower intill 5300 rpms!?! seems alittle odd?

I dont know if it was totally burnt on the 12 psi run but it was on the other runs. The power suffered 80-100 rwhp on the other runs. I should have looked at the plug wires but I was to busy looking at the dyno graphs.

Looks great! The torque and HP should always cross at 5250RPM by default.

    True statement.

Oh, and please tell me you are not going to run 18 psi on a stock bottom end... Tell me you have built that 346...

But all in all--flippin badass man! I have seen a few of the truck's vids and it appears that: 1. You are suffering from slow spool-up problems 2. You need a bigger stall 3. You take it easy on launch.

What rearend do you have? Gears?

Yeah its a forged 346. I should have the spoolining problems taken care of. Im running a 3400 stall and it pulls pretty good out of the hole but I have a 3800 laying in the shop ready to go in. The should put it in the sweat spot. Ill get some track vids when I go to the track. I ran 17 psi on the street and it felt wicked! I was going about 60-65 mph and it started spining at wot! Thats with 285/50-18 toyo proxes. There about 10" wide and hook 200 times beter than my goodyear GT2's.
