put in my tune this morning, pretty easy install no problems except i had to the security relearn and it fired right up after the 3rd go around. next of course i had to go try it out,the results are better than what i had with the hpp3,but not quite what i had anticipated.ill give it some more miles before i make up my mind on it completely.also had allen try to get rid of an annoying cruise control effect that i think is a result of my manual trans but with no luck, same as before.

I had the same EXACT feeling. "Man this is nice, but nothing mind blowing" That was about day one and two. At about the third and fourth day, honestly it was like a switch was flipped. Really awoke. I only got the 87 tune and I feel like there is a very big difference. Don't worry though, I though the same thing that you did at first.

It gets quicker in time. I noticed it was much better after the reflash...but about a week later it was soooooo much better.

Thats exactly how my experience with my Nelson tune was. At first, i could feel a slight difference in how it shifted, and that it seemed louder to me. Then after i put about 300 miles on it, my truck really seemed to come alive. It feels like a totally different truck. It hauls @SS! Allen @ Nelson perfomance is the man!

I have called Allen twice in the past 2 weeks and left messages for an appointment for me to go down there to get my tune. I have never gotten a reply or anything from him. Anyone know if he is out?
    Thx,

Chill rolio, Allen is a busy guy. Sometimes you have to be patient with him.
I don't know why you would have any trouble getting in touch with him. Every time I call I get Allen on the phone right away. Maybe you are calling the wrong number. Whatever the case I'm sure Allen will get it worked out for ya. Till then take a deep breath.

I doubt I'm calling the wrong # since the voice mail clearly states it is him. I am patient, but I would of expected a reply of some sort after a few days of waiting. I left a message saying when I would like to go over there and another message asking if he got the first message. Both times I left my call back number. All I want is a reply that says the date I have planned will work for him as well. No sense in driving 4 hours 1 way for nothing. I know he is a busy guy, and so am I. I'm sure everything will be cool too.
    Thx,
    Roli
