    2002 4.8 to 2001 ls1 swap

    changing tired 4.8l to low mile ls1 out of 01 f-body. just have the long block and stock f-body injectors. what other parts and pieces are required to do this swap? gen III is gen III to my knowledge but is there anything to look out for? the injectors connectors are different but all else should be straight forward. what should be done for programming? ive got a Diadlo programmer now with the 4.8 and i will change injector slope perameters. ended up with this ls1 from upgrading f-body to new ls2 402 cid stroker from wheel to wheel......550+ hp now

    Most of all of it should bolt over--accessories, intake, a/c compressor bracket, etc. But what about the heads? I would try and get a decent set of heads since you are doing a swap and have a low mile LS1...

    LS6 heads maybe.
