Went to the track last wed.

And blew the rearend to pieces, lol!

The burn out was awesome, slicks got nice and hot.

With the addition of the big brakes, the truck doesn't push through the line! Got 6psi at the light, the truck wanted to fly, then as soon as I gassed it and left off the brake, BOOM!

Oh well, time for an upgrade.

I'm not doing 4.10's again, maybe something around a 3.55 ratio. The 3.42's were awesome, but with the taller tire, I need to offset that ratio a bit.
    Maybe 3.73's.

    later,
    allen

Will you quit breaking stuff and get a good run in, I want to see how it runs with the 4l80e.

LOL, it's running pretty damn strong with 8-9psi.
I would guess high to mid 12's, but that 80e sure did soak up a lot of power. Or, maybe it's just the loose ass converter I have, it's supposed to be a 2800, i can get 3500rpms during a brake stand at the track.

aw that stinks. i need to upgrade mine too, im thinking to keep my 3.42 or 3:73

that has to much power seems like it breaks something every month

Good to hear JJ, still looks like it's running strong! A good launch and it'll run a 10sec.

I had GM 4.10 gears and an Eaton Posi.
I hope the eaton is still good, I'll get some Moser axles and go back to some 3.5x's gears.
