I used to have one, if that counts. I had a 98 t-top, 6 spd. I had all the suspension goodies on it. I got hooked after i installed the eibach springs and bilstiens. After that, i was into handling more than power, i guess it had just enuff at the time.

She didn't like it becuase i went thru 5 clutches when i had it, on the 5th one it was outta here. I elected to buy a centerforce when they first came out, bastard should have kept that damn setup in the prototype shop because it fcking sucked, i'm still pissed about it, hahah. It ruined my trans after the 2nd one. At the track, i litterally blew one up, when i pulled the trans, coffee grounds came falling out, that's how bad it was. It also put four quarter size holes in my bellhousing.

anyway, i'll get an auto this time.

yeah, I've heard numerous complaints about centerforce clutches--thats pretty crazy that your clutch just grenaded like that though--that's why I went with SPEC. it holds like mad. have done many 4-5k clutch dumps with 320+rwhp on a 4000lb vehicle and it has held up. sounds like you had a sweet car there. i would have went for a manual but dont want to deal with the maintenance associated with manuals.
