Is that similar to like a camaro style exhaust?

Kind of... it's a crossover muffler... it takes the place of having to have a crossover pipe or "H" pipe. With the butterfly valves closed, exhaust would be directed thuogh the muffler... but when you open them, it'd shoot striaight through open pipes to the exits just before the rear wheels.
