    Cody, the LR4 is the 4.8L. He was asking about thr 5.3L...

    But just so that you guys know,
    The LR4 is the Gen III iron block smaller displacement truck motor introduced in 1999.
    The LY2 is the Gen IV version of the LR4 and it was introduced in 2007. It is the only GM truck motor that doesnot have VVT or AFM technology.

    I know its a 4.8, he jsut said "all that stuff" so I thought he meant all the different truck motors.
