I get BAD wheel hop whenever i do a burnout,donuts or get sideways.. Its got a 5/8 drop on 20s in case it matters! just wondering whats the easiest way to get rid of it??
also! every burnout video i see of an FSC, both tires are spinning! only my passenger rear spins! what the ****!:bsflag:

easiest is some generic traction bars, lakewood has some that will work. Best way is caltrac bars, more expensive. You have an open rear end. you need to try to find a factory locker or get an aftermarket locker. I have a couple factory lockers if you need one.

With your truck being lowered is the pinion angle correct? That killed me and once corrected I still had to add the Cal-Tracs.

Check the pinion angle of your drive shaft. Do you have after market lef springs and/or flip kit? It's off from lowering your truck. Put a factory locker in from TurboMic or there's some aftermarket ones that work well also.

If you took your overload spring out,it will hop....I broke 2 transmissions that way...Be careful! Broke input shafts on both from a severe hop.

the pinion angle of the axel is perfectly str8t! The drop in the rear is just a flip kit and shackles!
where do i purchase the caltracs? couldnt find anything on google! and how much would you want for one of those factory lockers??
and yeah i always let off once i feel wheel hop! just gets annoying cause all my change falls all over the ground!

caltrac bars took care of the hop for me
The easiest and cheapest way to reduce wheel hop is to get some leaf spring clamps. You can get them at most auto parts stores for about $10. I have them on my truck and they completely eliminated wheel hop...even at the track. Just make sure you really tighten them. The downside is they will make your truck ride rougher in the rear and they will drop the rear of your truck about an inch.
