thats the biggest cam i have seen in a 5.3 with stock internals. i know you will need new springs an rods.
that is not too big for stock heads, but you need good springs.
IMO, it isnt the best pick for boost.

I agree. With boost you want the LSA to be higher so the boosted air does not escape the combustion chamber through the exhaust during stroke.
It isn't THAT bad for boost, but it will work fine. Just make sure you have some longtube headers. And I would recommend PRC springs...
