After patientally waiting for the right time, I finally ordered the dyno. I sign the papers, officially, tomorrow.
It's going to be the Super Flow SF-790 Eddy Current dyno.
The dyno is rated at 790hp to the wheels, so that should cover more than 99% of the trucks and cars on the road. Plus, it's primary purpose is for tuning, not really a whore dyno, LOL.

For those who don't know, the eddy current offers controlled accel and decel loading. Which means you can control the speed of acceleration and decel.
This type of dyno is a must for a fuel injection tuning. It places a load on the truck just like real world driving. Of course, I'll still street tune, that's the funest way, hehehe.

I'll be testing all kinds of mods, including cams, exhaust, filters, cai, etc.

Hopefully I can get a few manufacturers to give up some product so I can begin testing them, part vs part, we'll find out what parts make the hp and ditch the rest.

It should be here sometime next month, i'm hoping!!!!

just had to post this, I'm very excited. Next on the list, well, I'll just wait to post that.

    later,

    allen

just a 2wd, bi directional, dyno.

the awd is in a few years, it will accomodate a long ass wheel base too, that one was closet to 90K, lol.

That's great! Bill and I were talking about the dyno yesterday. We were trying to design something for the AWDs to test on a 2wheel dyno. Let me know if you need help setting it up.
