IMO, have a 3-bolt flange welded to the collectors of the headers and at the front of the y-pipe. They bolt up nicely and can be eaily removed--compared to the slip joints with band clamps. I can't tell you how many times I've tried disconnecting the y-pipe from the headers and it doesn't wanna go... I did my headers and y-pipe with the 3-hole flanges and the connect/disconnect is so simple!

Do you have to cut any off the headers or y pipe or just weld the 3-hole flanges on. Where can you get that done at? Thanks
