What guys think about Valentines day

The truth is that we are alot like women when it comes to gifts on Valentines day. Women like shiney things such as jewlrey, diamonds, flowers, and candy. Guys like shiney things as well. It would melt my heart if i had a shiney cam shaft for my truck or a shiney new PS3 or a shiney new stage 5 fully built tranny for my new supercharger. But you say all that is useless and i say candy makes you fat and flowers die. As far as diamonds go they cost alot couple grand you women want us to spend on jewlrey. When is the last time you ever heard of a girl spending a couple of Gs on "Diamond Audio" like D3 or D6 speakers for their man. Exactly right you havent. This year ladies dont bitch if you dont get what you wanted because the heart box of chocolates you got us probably was no where near what us guys really want.

I hate valentines day...i'm expected to buy flowers and candy....but to make it that much worse its my wifes birthday...so instead of just sticking the knife in you get to twist it around a bit....

One of the local radio stations out here (94.5 the buzz) came up with a solution to make guys want to be involved on valentines day. They declared March 14th steak and bj day! The day speaks for itself. Suprisingly, many women have called in and think its a great idea...lots of guys call in saying they mentioned it to their woman as a joke, and she WANTS to do it!
