    is a 4.8 worth building

    is a 4.8 worth building or would i be better to buy a 6.0. i would like to keep it just to brag when i beat poeple that have bigger cubic inch engines. i have already out run two dodge hemis on the interstate. and that was with out the cai or 80mm tb

    i just bought a blower and a meth kit for my lil 4.8 i dont need a 6.0 i like the fast reving 4.8 anyway. Ben

    i was just wondering. ive got a buddy who is a parts manager at a chevy dealer and i can get a lq9 for a little over 3k

    Junk yard low milage LQ9s can be had for less than 2k

    a local junk yard has one for $1450 but i doubt it is a lq9

    Go with a Radix or kenne bell. Make sure it is intercooled.

    When you say build if you mean machined and assyembled from the ground up i would definetly say no... start with a 6.0...If your just thinking about some bolt ons and even including a cam I say go for it.
