    Cam Kit

    this is the cam kit i plan to order for my truck from thunder racing
    the cam is a 99TR220/220/112LSA
    i just wanted to make sure the dual patriot golds will be fine. the kit seems to come with everything for roughly 700$ Lemme know what you think thanks

    Naw fool--all of that sounds great. It's an awesome package. Make sure to completely remove all of the stock valvetrain--valve springs, top and bottom retainers, AND valve stem seals. The PRC's need their own specific valve stem seals--if not, you get coil bind on the rockers and you will eventually ruin your entire rocker assembly... Right Virgil????

    is patriot made by PRC? cuz thats what im getting with the kit patriot dual golds says comes with seals and all the goodies. god they are sticking it to me for almost 900$ for a cam kit and a slave for the t56 but its a necesary thing

    You have to get the entire kit.
    Why not try and shop around for everything???? I am sure that there are people out there on the boards who are seilling low mile cams and goodies for cheap...

    im an easy type of guy ship it new with no problems... money well spent. but then agian if its spent on your truck isnt it always well spent? haha
